Terms of publication
To publish an article in “Scientific Bulletin of Uzhhorod National University. Medicine "Series”, № 2 (74), 2026, you should take the following steps until July 31, 2026 (inclusively):
▶ fill in an application form (at the link)
▶ send an original article, which meets all the requirements, to editor@med-visnyk.uzhnu.uz.ua.
Articles which have scientific and practical value are accepted for publishing. The author has the right to submit only one scholarly article, which has not been published before, to one issue. The author is responsible for the text originality, the accuracy of the facts, citations, statistics, proper names, geographical names and other information, as well as for the fact that the article does not disclose restricted information. The editors are not responsible for the information presented in the article. A final decision on publication is made by the editors, who also reserve the right to further review, edit and reject the articles.
All articles recommended by the editorial board are published in the journal in the order of their submission and consideration. Payment is made after the author receives confirmation from the editor of editorial board decision to approve the article for publishing. The editors anonymously review articles and check them for plagiarism, and then the authors receive details to pay the publication fee.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
The journal does not charge a submission fee. The publication fee is charged only after an article has been accepted for publication and has no influence on the peer-review process or editorial decisions.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.
If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.
After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.
The publication fee is 1600 UAH (for 12 pages). Each extra page is paid additionally for 50 UAH. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and publication of the article.
The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.
Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.
Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.

The journal’s electronic version becomes publicly available on the website duly.
Journal electronic version will be available on the website after September 30, 2026.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it after October 30, 2026.
