Terms of publication
To publish an article in “Scientific Bulletin of Uzhhorod National University. Medicine "Series”, № 2 (70), 2024, you should take the following steps until August 30, 2024 (inclusively):
▶ fill in an application form (at the link)
▶ send an original article, which meets all the requirements, and a scanned copy of payment confirmation to editor@med-visnyk.uzhnu.uz.ua.
Articles which have scientific and practical value are accepted for publishing. The author has the right to submit only one scholarly article, which has not been published before, to one issue. The author is responsible for the text originality, the accuracy of the facts, citations, statistics, proper names, geographical names and other information, as well as for the fact that the article does not disclose restricted information. The editors are not responsible for the information presented in the article. A final decision on publication is made by the editors, who also reserve the right to further review, edit and reject the articles.
All articles recommended by the editorial board are published in the journal gratuitously and in the order of their submission and consideration. Payment is made after the author receives confirmation from the editor of editorial board decision to approve the article for publishing. The editors anonymously review articles and check them for plagiarism, and then the authors receive details to pay the publication fee.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
The publication fee is 1100 UAH (for 12 pages). Each extra page is paid additionally for 50 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version.
An author should send payment confirmation (a scanned receipt or its photo) to editor@med-visnyk.uzhnu.uz.ua

The journal’s electronic version becomes publicly available on the website duly.
Journal electronic version will be available on the website after October 30, 2024.
If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it after November 30, 2024.
