Purpose and tasks
The mission of the journal is to support the development of national and global medical science through the dissemination of high-quality research, integration of Ukrainian scholars into the international academic community, and the promotion of public scientific communication in healthcare and biomedical disciplines.
The purpose determines key objectives:
1. To publish high-quality scientific works across all fields of medicine and pharmacy that demonstrate originality, practical significance, and compliance with international standards of academic integrity.
2. To promote academic dialogue between Ukrainian and international researchers by publishing papers from foreign authors, interdisciplinary studies, and materials resulting from international collaboration.
3. To support early-career researchers and PhD candidates by providing opportunities to publish results of dissertation research and other academically relevant studies.
4. To ensure open access to knowledge through free publication and dissemination of content under the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0), encouraging broader use and citation of published works.
5. To enhance the quality of medical education and clinical practice by publishing up-to-date scientific and practical recommendations and applied research for healthcare professionals.
6. To establish a professional scientific platform that adheres to international requirements for peer review, publication ethics, and editorial policy.
7. To preserve and promote the history of medicine as an essential element in the formation of scientific identity and academic heritage.
